Go For A Better World is filled with passionate Go enthusiasts who aim to bring the benefits of Go to places where they’re needed.

Jake Kim

Jake founded 'Go For A Better World' that aims to help seniors fight dementia through the game of Go. He is passionate about promoting Go as a tool for personal growth, community building, and positive change in the world. Jake is a sophomore at The Bishop's School in La Jolla, California.

Ted Terpstra

Ted has been teaching Go in San Diego for over 15 years in many different places: public schools, home schools, libraries, Buddhist temples, street fairs, and senior citizen enclaves. He was honored by the American Go Foundation as the North American Go Teacher of the Year for his work with youth.

Enrique Garcia

Enrique has been teaching Go to beginners, students, and public audiences for many years. He also plans many Go events as a president of the San Diego Go Club to spread awareness of the game and grow the Go community.
